Renewable energy sources are the existing energy, which is a continuous flow of energy derived from natural processes. These sources are wind, sunlight, flowing water (hydropower), biological processes and geo-thermal.
Renewable energy is derived from natural processes that are replenished constantly. In its various forms, it derives directly from the sun, or from heat generated deep within the earth. Included in the definition is electricity and heat generated from solar, wind, ocean, hydropower, biomass, geothermal resources, and biofuels and hydrogen derived from renewable resources.
People, plants, and animals cannot consume renewable energy permanently. Fossil fuels are renewable for a very long period of time in theory. Due to rough usage, in the near future fossil fuels are in danger of complete extinction.
Renewable energy sources can be used directly or converted into energy in other forms. Examples of direct uses are; solar energy appliances, geothermal heating and water or windmills. The most important way of usage is the wind turbines or photovoltaic cells.
